This spring the AMH collection takes inspiration from the retro clothing used in the cult 1988 film 'Big'. We have referenced the film’s silhouettes, fun prints and bold statements, working these into our range through embroideries and digital prints. What did you want to be when you were big? A doctor, a footballer, a buyer, a writer? Tom Hanks character wanted to be big, and Ashley wanted to be a fashion entrepreneur.
AMH continues to offer the latest premium streetwear looks with reverse fabrications creating texture and depth. Whilst statement wording such as “GIANT” create interesting forms with embroidered satin.
Ashley Marc Hovelle showcases colour and print with detail. Inspiration for Ashley Marc Hovelle is taken from traditional Japanese kimonos. As always, our designs are hand illustrated to reflect our detailed design signature.
We debut ‘the collar sweatshirt’. Whilst new raglan sleeves provide a retro sport fitting, kimono print block panelling is presented on sweats, t-shirts and shirting. In addition Japanese flowers have been used to powerful effect with fine digital printing and other parts of the collection take on interesting geometrical forms.
